T-Enterprise were approached by Robert Whytes to develop an advanced Stock Program which would allow the company to move from the manual excel input which they badly needed.

If you can consider the various processes that go on in RWL, its easy to see that one complete SQL solution would solve all their problems. From the point when an item is sold, it must be assigned to an item in stock in their warehouse distribution center. If the item is not in stock this program would allow RWL to flag the item and allow the next batch to be reserved by serial numbers.

An interesting feature is that the stock program allows RWL to access the web database within the same application. This means when the RWL staff come in everyday they only need to open this application to:

Check new orders
Update Web Database
and of course manage their stock!
